Hi, I’m Jessie! I am the one woman show behind JMT ceramics. Every piece is made by me from start to finish.

 

I started my ceramics journey in 2018 when I attended a date night at Workshop Studios with a friend. I enjoyed the evening enough to sign up for a 6 week course. And then another one. And another one. Until I felt confident to become a member at the studio. 

 

I was lucky enough to have access to a small studio in 2020, and due to the pandemic I found myself spending a lot of hours in that space. During this time I was able to practice, learn and grow into a place that made me comfortable to start selling my pieces. 

 

You can now find me in a studio at Workshop Studios in Inglewood, Calgary. I have a small private studio that I work out of on my evenings and weekends.
